Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced/Aluminum Clad Outdoor Cross-linked Insulated Wire (ACSR/AW-OC)
This product is made by stranding aluminum wire around a core zinc-coated steel cable and then insulating the wire with cross-linked polyethylene. Corrosion resistance has been improved compared to ACSR. Used on high-voltage (6.6kV) and special high-voltage (22.9kV) overhead distribution lines.it is suitable for areas subject to slight environmental pollution.
ACSR/AW-TR/OC is an improved version of ACSR/AW-OC with double insulation and different insulating materials. Together with improved tracking resistance, less current leakage and better insulation, water-blocking was applied to the conductor to prevent stress breaking and thus improve power supply. Used on special high-voltage (22.9kV) overhead distribution lines, this product is suitable for coastal, industrial and mountainous areas.
